Prima Queen

Transatlantic indie duo Prima Queen announce their debut album The Prize, out 25th April 2025 via Submarine Cat Records. Following recent acclaim and support slots with Olivia Dean, Wet Leg and Whitney, they return today with new single ‘Ugly’, a raw reflection on the end of a one-sided romance. Produced by Steph Marziano (Hayley Williams, Nell Mescal), the track captures the band's signature blend of shimmering pop and emotive storytelling.

Already praised by The Guardian, NME and The i, Prima Queen are set to support Everything Everything on their December UK tour, and will join The Maccabees next summer at All Points East. With The Prize, Louise Macphail and Kristin McFadden deliver a powerful debut packed with melodic vulnerability and lyrical strength - a celebration of friendship, growth, and finding your voice.
