Expect a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with short or flexible sets, minimal production, and a clear focus on wellbeing and community. Performances are acoustic or lightly amplified, with volume kept comfortable and sensory impact kept low. Accessible spaces are prioritised, and the emphasis is on shared experience rather than performance pressure.

PULSE is an entry point for new audiences and artists alike, taking Sonic Boom beyond the festival itself and into community venues and non-traditional spaces, often during the daytime or early evening.
